Terms & Conditions

These terms govern taking part in Major Cut private leagues. By entering a team you agree to them. This is a template pending legal review before going live.

Who can play

Major Cut private leagues are invite-only competitions among members who know one another. You must be 18 or over and a UK resident to take part.

Entries & payment

Each team costs the league entry fee, paid by bank transfer with the reference shown at entry. An entry is only active once payment is received and matched. Unpaid entries are released at the entry deadline.

The competition

Teams are four golfers with combined odds over 200/1. Scoring, the cut penalty, withdrawals and ties are set out on the Rules page and form part of these terms.

Prize money

Private leagues are run not-for-profit: 100% of entry money is returned to winners according to the published payout for that league. Major Cut takes no cut of any private-league pot.

Withdrawals & refunds

If a picked golfer withdraws before the event you may substitute a replacement or take a full refund of that entry, as described in the Rules.

Fair play

Accounts found colluding, entering on behalf of ineligible people, or abusing the platform may be removed without refund.
